What the service is

Report Creator is a web service from The Ideal Way Business Services Inc. of Selkirk, Manitoba. You upload funding agreements, reports and related documents. Gary, our AI guide, reads them, keeps track of what is due, runs check-ins and helps you draft reports.

Gary can make mistakes. Everything he writes is a draft for you to check. Nothing is sent to a funder or anyone else for you. You decide what gets sent, and you send it.

We are not your lawyer, accountant or funder. Report Creator is not legal or financial advice.

What it costs

Before you pay, the sign-up page shows exactly what you will be charged and when. There is a one-time start-up charge, a charge for each report, and a service charge that is monthly or yearly. GST and RST are added at checkout unless your organization is tax exempt.

You agree to what the page shows when you tick the box and pay. Payment is by card through Stripe. Stripe sends its own receipt, and we send a confirmation.

No refunds, and when the service ends

The service runs to the end of the term you have paid for. We don't refund unused time.

If you end the service, you keep full access to the end of the term you have paid for. Then the service ends and nothing renews.

If something goes wrong on our side, tell us and we will look at it fairly.

Cancelling and your data

The owner can end the service in the app by tapping End the service. You can also ask us at the contact below.

When the term you have paid for ends, Gary stops check-ins and stops reading new NORRs. Your NORR projects become read-only. You can still sign in, look at everything and download an export of what Gary wrote and tracked, plus the text Gary read from your documents. Keep your original files.

After the service ends, your projects stay readable and downloadable for at least 90 days. We delete them on request. To come back after the service has ended, contact us.

Your data and privacy

Your organization's data is yours, and we look after it on your behalf.

First Nations: the app is built to OCAP principles.

Project documents, check-ins and notes are stored in a Canadian data centre.

Gary uses a third-party AI service to read your documents. Full details are available on request.

Ask, and we'll export or delete your project's data.

We keep the text of your documents, the summaries Gary writes, check-in notes, and the names and email addresses of the people you invite. Only the owner and the champions on a project can see it. We don't open your projects. If you ask us for help, we may ask you to invite us to the project, and we will only see what you let us see. We use your information only to run the service for you. We don't sell your project data.

We send sign-in links, receipts, and emails about your projects, such as reminders and weekly summaries.

If something happens to your data, we will tell you as soon as we can. You can ask us at any time to export or delete your project's data.

What you're responsible for

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. You check everything Gary writes before you use it. You keep your own copies of your original documents. You keep your sign-in link private, and you are responsible for the people you invite to your projects. Use the service lawfully.

No guarantee of funding or approval

Report Creator helps you stay organized and prepare reports. We do not guarantee that a report will be accepted, that a deadline will be met, or that you will receive or keep any funding. Funders make those decisions. Gary may miss or misread something. You and your organization are responsible for what you submit and when.

Gary depends on a third-party AI service, and the service may be slow or unavailable at times. We don't promise it will never be interrupted.

Limits and governing law (Manitoba)

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost funding, penalties or lost opportunities. This does not limit anything the law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Before going to court, contact us and we will try to sort it out.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version and date are at the top of this page. We email the owner before a new version applies, with at least 30 days' notice. If you don't agree, you can end the service before it applies.
